He bowed, unimpressed. Artists sketched him, but couldn’t capture the fierce clarity in his eye. Until one day, he vanished. Just a whisper of feathers on the breeze. Years later, a traveler in Denver wore his likeness on their arm—etched in ink, still watching, still guarding. A symbol not of a place, but of the way a place can live within you.
